    Hi Helena & Glenn!

I loved the #2 episode and have to say that these were both great products to feature. I am very picky about my tack/apparel and it turns out that my gloves have become a very important part of my daily riding equipment. I have always loved the Ariat brand and am very excited about getting these.

But…I have to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Rowdy helmet in black! I recently won one in a writing contest when I shared my story of how a helmet saved my head. Although I ride primarily English, I do own a western saddle and have always worn a helmet while riding in it, but THIS helmet is the perfect “look” because I don’t go all out western but like the style of the Rowdy & I still pair it up with some breeches and fun western-ish jackets/tops for trail riding.

Style aside, this is THE most comfortable helmet I own. It’s extremely soft in the areas where it touches my head and it’s lightweight enough to make you almost forget it’s there. I’m thrilled to be able to share my review of this helmet and am so thankful to Troxel for choosing my story and awarding me this helmet.

Troxel is so great they even donated a brown Rowdy as a prize for our upcoming Save A Forgotten Equine (S.A.F.E.) Horse Show to benefit Equine Rescue. We are so thrilled that we’ve started a “SAFE Rider Campaign” in association with the show to encourage all riders to wear helmets to our show. We will give a raffle ticket to every adult entrant of each class who wears a helmet in the ring or trail course & will be selling raffle tickets to those who don’t have a helmet but would like to win this fabulous helmet!

Thanks for featuring this great product & Company (Karisa’s great, by the way!) and for this awesome new show. I’ve already linked it to my facebook page!

ps: I hope to get to meet ya’ll when I come out to volunteer for the WEG in Sept!!!
